Fire PreviewIt's 9:37 PM, August 31, 2007. Sirens are heard throughout town. Two Ambulances, several police vehicles, and three fire engines. There is smoke covering the dark sky, flames illuminating the smoky air lingering overhead. The sirens silence, and you can hear the crickets outside, whispering out into the night. I look out at the smoke, and the flames accompany them. They lick at the trees, hence forth, sending them into pillars of fire. The glistening water of the lake is reflecting the terror, rippling its way seaward. I hear screams. Screams of a girl being burned to death. Cries for help from another. I aFire Preview
